Sugar, Spice, Everything Nice and Ingredient X

Here they come just in time, the Powerpuff Girls- POWERPUFF! okay so these ladies were the first thing I ever learned to draw animationwise... because I went to Barnstable High School one of the show's creators was an allum and came in and did a lecture one day that even 8th graders could go to! (I was one of them) and he taught us how to draw them.

This was clearly a nostalgia week- you will be seeing Kim Possible, Tiny Toons etc so why not go with the Powerpuff girls!?!?!?!

Also- this is my second attempt at them, the first time I botched the ink by my hand getting such a sevear tremor it just ruined it. no way to fix SO I started over again with a new pose this one being from the opening is more than likely the most recognizable but it was easy enough to do from memory XD

WOW- talk about going BACK to the basics. I've been trying to do realistic people in my style for the last month that doing something so... simplified... well... if you were in my flat/studio you'd see the 3 pages of printer paper scribbled with the basic shapes and how to do draw these gals.

I watched the opening about 10 times then just sat back and went to work. NOT TOO SHABBY!

As always this was done on X-Press It Blending Card with COPIC SP Multi-Liner over BIC Mechanical Pencil with Copic Sketch Markers for colour.
